Pours a deep golden color with a thinnish white head that dissipates slowly and leaves some lace. Earthy, citrusy aroma mixed with a bit of bread and toffee. Taste is much the same, a bitter citrusy hoppy beer with a smattering of toffee and caramel malts. Medium body and carbonation level with a resinous bitter mouthfeel. Decent Pale ale, nothing special but certainly a drinkable beer.

The beer pours a nice golden color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is good. It has a solid pale malt recipe; pale and Carapils malts, excellent hop choice. The hops really stand out in the aroma; very nice. The taste is good. It has a good balanced taste. It's got a solid malt base along with a larger than average hop addition. It goes down easy with a moderately bitter finish. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a good drinking pale and their best offering in the sampler.

An average beer, though so-so pale. Good C hop aroma. Good lacing. Fresh. Citrus flavour bitterness, and malt secondary. Tasted more bitter than IBU 31 self-evaluation, maybe they turned up the hop content over time. Creamy, middling mouthfeel. Above average carbonation. Appreciate the sessionability.

Draught: The beer pours with a large, fluffy white head. There was good retention of the head. The beer itself was a dark amber color. It was fairly clear. The aroma was a hair weak. It was mainly of some piney and citrusy hops. Some malts in there also. The beer had a good malt body to balance the bit of bitterness from the hops. Some piney notes to the taste.
