A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark brown hue with a thin dark chocolate hue that fades to leave a light halo.

S - Aromas of great nutty aroma, dark chocolate, nougat, great barrel notes, nice cookie like notes, rich whiskey. Very, very nice.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, just, not quite as intense. Excellent nuttiness, really nice chocolate notes, great barrel notes, nice bourbon, good light sweetness, really pleasant vanilla.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, rather thin, however the alcohol is hidden very very nicely.

O - Overall this was a very nice beer, excellent barrel notes and chocolate. Really well done.

Pours with no real head, dark bubbles, super dark pitch black color long legs.

Nose super rich dark choc fudge, cocoa and big whiskey maybe bourbon, toasted charred vanilla oak, Hint of booze, caramel, thick cocoa, big caramel with fluffy nougat, nutty, little biscuit cookie dough.

Taste big lush cocoa, a little anise out front with little booze tingle, bakers choc and cocoa, little fudge, more caramel into some mild cookie dough fluffy nougat, touch nutty, big caramel little lush creamy, mild whisky, toasted mild vanilla oak, little bitter spicy hop note. Finish little sticky little fudgey cocoa lingering, touch caramel.

Mouth is fudgey lush creamy but slightly thin, lighter carb, booze hidden well.

Overall pretty nice, ruswish the barrel was a touch more, carb was a bit light and maybe slightly thin, but a great base stout.
