Classic porter with an excellent malt combination. Just a vortex of malt in the body, really gives this basic flavored porter a memorable twist. Smell is very warm and inviting with the malt, chocolate, and birchwood.

12oz bottle. Poured out a dark brown color with a foamy, caramel colored, small head. It smelled of a good deal of caramel and roasted malt. Tasted of sweet caramel and roasted malt with a sharp bitter bite.

Pours a clear, dark brown. One inch head of a tan color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of strong roasted malt, sweet malt, slight chocolate, hop resin, hint of piney hops, slight alcohol, and a hint of wood. Fits the style of an American Porter. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, roasted malt, slight chocolate, hint of hops, slight alcohol, hint of oatmeal, and hint of wood. Good appearance, aroma, great blend, and good body.
