Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a slightly cloudy golden/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of melons, strawberries. Taste is the same as the aroma, mild bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

This IPA has a Farmhouse feel, not my favorite style. Having said that, I like this beer but it's not in Saugatuck top tier. Saugatuck has such a great line up, their pub/restaurant is very nice and it's one of the most beautiful spots in Michigan!

To reach a deeper understanding, two 12 oz. cans have been poured into a clear glass liter mug. It's a hazy orange-amber colored beer that has a nice head of tight white foam. A defined juicy hop aroma accompanies the look. Good mostly hoppy flavor on a solid malt backbone is the dominant opinion of the taste buds. The hoppiness is more of the dank and juicy variety than sharp and crisp. This is joined by a little earthiness, presumably from the malt. Balanced nicely, hops take over at the end of the aftertaste, like so many good IPAs do. Although there wasn't much glass lacing, the head endured to the finish. Well done!

12 oz can pours a cloudy light orange -golden color with a small head. Canned on 05/27/20. Sweet citrus-pine aroma, medium bodied, tingly carbonation. Grapefruit caramel flavor, just finished my second can and already craving another.

Kinda sweet and cheesy for an IPA, but not overwhelmingly. Hop bouquet is complex but rather muted.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of roasted caramel malt, toffee and pine. A little unbalanced tasting with a strong maltiness and odd bitterness.

Since I spent a couple/few days celebrating CANada Day on 01 July, it only seems right & fitting to spent this four-day weekend drinking, reviewing & rating AmeriCAN-owned & made beers. Cheers!
From the CAN: "Here's to Happy (tm)"; "Every Journey Begins With a Sip."; "Go off the beaten path with this beautifully gold, effervescent IPA. Hop flavor and aroma derived from Galaxy, Simcoe, Amarillo & Michigan Experimental Hops - leading to a one of a kind fruity flavor filled with strawberry, melon, and grapefruit."
I was ready for this one after all of those fruited & other non-hoppy beers so I Crack!ed open the vent & gave it a steady C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It quickly formed two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, tawny head that simply wilted in the face of tonight's heat & humidity. I'm starting to wilt myself. Color was a beautiful Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7) with NE-quality clarity. As if it were not warm enough already, this prompted a visit from The Gelt Gang of Midas, Croesus & Mammon, all clamoring for a taste. Nose was super fruity, but not overly sweet. I was very curious to try this one! Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, not quite creamy, but big for an AIPA. I really liked the way it came with an initial blast of grapefruit bitterness & then slowly subsided into strawberry & melon. I might not have liked it as much if it had been the reverse, but this was just fine! Finish was dry and hoppy with a lingering CANtaloupe melon flavor. Mmm.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/20/2019. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; nicely soft feel and not aggressive. Awesome Galaxy, Simcoe, Amarillo, & MI Experimental profile. Super juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great clean pale malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with lingering crisp resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. Best IPA I've had from them yet.
