Brewery Notes: Brewed with natural strawberry, banana, chocolate and vanilla. Double dipped by first being aged in oak bourbon barrels followed by French brandy barrels; 24 months total.

Pours an obsidian liquid , no foam cap , dissolves to a taupe ring

Aroma is bourbon , boozy

Taste is sweet bananas, bourbon , chocolate

Thick , syrupy , full mouthfeel , low sudsing

Good beer , representative of the style, not a huge fan of banana beers, truth in advertising, it is what it is

Syrupy, medicinal strawberry taste. No banana, light chocolate, mild bourbon notes. Below average for my taste.

12oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a very small, light brown head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of bourbon, oak, vanilla, chocolate and toffee. Bourbon and booziness was the dominant flavor with a good dose of chocolate sweetness.
