Dark brown in color with no light penetration. There's a fingernail of beige around the rim. The aroma is of faint peanut butter and that's all I can detect. I'm tasting peanut butter, bourbon, and more peanut butter. The mouth is dense and lightly chewy.

A - Dark brown pour with thin, dense caramel lacing and low carbonation.
S - Agressive peanut butter smacks you in the face followed with a light chocolate malt base. (Peanut butter dominates.)
T - The initial sip is big peanut butter followed with chocolate malt, some oak, and Bourbon. As you get a few sips in the palate adjusts and dials back the peanut butter to a point where it's well blended overall. Ends with a lingering peanut butter, chocolate, and Bourbon.
M - Medium body that has a slight bit of thinness around the edges.
O - Perfectly balanced and two thumbs up. Well worth seeking out.

A really nice BA imperial porter! Not overly boozy. Well balanced with subtle peanut butter nuances! Well done!
