Collaboration brewed by myself and Saugatuck for Nate and Keli's Wedding at the Radisson Plaza Hotel on New years eve.

Pours a dark brown with a creamy tan head. Smells of maple syrup and malty goodness. Slightly over carbonated (in my opinion), no control over that part of process. Smells like something I want to drink, dark, roasted, malty, and maple syrup. Roasted and deep malt flavors come through at first, a buttery middle, and the maple syrup pokes it head out but weakly. It has a strong bitterness that leaves you with a thirst for more. Mouthfeel was creamy and full, with a finish of crispness (from carbonation). Overall I am happy with how this recipe turned out for the wedding, though I think it was better the first time I brewed it.

Collaboration between Mike Blanchard and Saugatuck for Nate and Keli Ekola's wedding
On tap at the Radisson Plaza Hotel
Pours a nice dark brown with frothy head. Looks great. Smells heavily of maple syrup. Nice roasty aroma. A touch of buttery smells peaking through. Tastes roasty and a touch bitter. Very nice malty profile. The butteriness is cutting through a bit too much but overall very enjoyable. Opens up as it warms
