On-tap at Southend Brewery & Smokehouse, Charleston, SC
A: The beer is slightly hazy amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high beige head that consistently left a short head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of herbal hops are present in the nose—rosemary seems to stand out in particular—along with notes of caramel malts.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of herbs underscored by notes of caramel malts. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer doesn't have that much in the way of hop bitterness, but the herbs add a little zing.
Serving type: on-tap

This one was served in a standard shaker.
The beer is a chill hazed copper with an off white head. Great lacing, it's a looker.
Nose of citrus and caramel malt.
The taste does not live up to the look and aroma. It has some pine notes and a bit of sweet toasted grains. The flavors are a bit washed out.
The mouth is a bit thin.
Not a great first impression from this attractive brewpub.

Pours a hazy, copper color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of fresh sweet malt, fresh pale malt, fresh hops, slight citrus, and strong yeast. Fits the style of an American Pale Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. There is only slight bitterness and no dryness. Tastes of strong sweet malt, slight earthy malt, hint of pale malt, slight citrus, and slight hop. Overall, beer tasted amazingly fresh, the hop characteristics are minimal, but the malt characteristics while distinct are well blended nevertheless.
