This one was served in a goblet. It is a dark garnet with a tan head & good lacing.
The nose is of caramel and lots of grains.
The taste is big and malty. It is Sweet with notes of brown sugar. There is soft fruit and mild hops in the background.
The mouth is smooth and silky with low carbonation. Easy drinker, not sure why its an imperial, but its tasty!
Crap, looking at the beer menu, I see it has 85 IBUs!! Where did the hops go?
