This was served in a standard pint glass. It is brown bordering on black with a bit of tan head.
Like some other house beers, the nose needs a bit more oomph. Still there are some mildly roasted malts and some cheery smell that darts in and out.
The cherry taste is slightly artificial. Think cherry cough syrup mixed with a Guinness. The stout part of this beer never gets to shine through. Needs better balance perhaps more hops to add bitterness?
The mouth is a bit of above average. The drinkabilty is no more than average and suffers a bit from the beers shortcomings.
