On tap at the Brewpub, this Imperial Porter was served in a goblet. It is dark brown with a big nose of roasted malts molasses.
The taste is filling, rich and roasty. There is candied dark fruit and grains with bakers chocolate in the background. The alcohol emerges late but is not that intrusive.
The beer is blessed with a substantial and smooth mouth. Easy to drink but watch out for the 9.8!!
