John's Locker Stock Pale Ale was one of the seasonals they were offering during my latest visit (late September 2009)
It was served in a standard pint. The beer is dark copper with a chill haze. It has a smallish tan head.
It has an aroma of citrus, which was surprisingly orange like. It also has fresh grains and something sweet that I couldn't put my finger on.
This is unique. It has orange notes, honey and a bit of pine. Sweet but bitter, well balanced in a different way.
The mouth is slick and a touch oily. I'm not sure if I would session it, but I would never turn one down.
