KLCC Black Rye IPA - The bartender old me this is a collaborative brew made with input from a local radio station. It uses a Belgian yeast strain. It is served in a chalice. The beer is jet black with a dark tan head.
Nose of apples, pears, spices and malts. There is also a hint of coffee.
The taste closely tracks the smell. There is lots of yeast, fruit, spice and bread dough. There is a bit of coffee and rum in the finish.
The mouth is silky smooth. I'm not sure it's a session beer, but it is a great Mixmaster of flavors.
