This was one of the Seasonals on tap at Eugene City Brewery.
Served in a standard pint, the beer is a chill hazed red-amber with a beige head.
The nose is of grains and some pine notes. I thought for a “NW” style IPA, there would be more hops.
The taste is a mix of lightly toasted grains, a bit of pine, a dash of citrus and an earthy finish. This was a pretty tasty beer, but not hopped enough. Maybe it should be a NW APA?
Carbonation is sharp and could dialed down a notch, but that is a minor quibble.
