Taps dark and opaque. Smallish cap does not last long.
Lots of cocoa-coffee roast in the aroma and some grassiness.
Flavor is roasty-sweet, some body and mealy taste from the oats. nice roasty-coffee bittering finish.
A nice draft oat stout. Best of this pub's offerings so far.

On tap at the Winking Judge in Hamilton.
Poured a near-black hue with a bit of chocolate colour when held to the light. A good tan head to it.
Dark chocolate, bitter coffee and caramel to the nose. The taste is pretty much the same, with a bitter finish.
The mouthfeel is what drags this brew down a bit. Somewhat chalky texture, despite a rather thin body. Something about it just didn't feel right. Might be better bottled.
Not my favorite Ontario oatmeal stout, but certainly a good one and damned drinkable. A few kinks to iron out, but you'll do okay.

Served in a pint glass with a very thin layer of head that dissapated quickly. Black color.
Smells like dark bitter chocolate, coffee. Tastes the same, but with some hoppy bitterness too.
Medium to full bodied. Average carbonation.
Good drinkability.

The best tasting and looking of their lineup at the new brewpub in Niagara Falls. Winish looking, definately looks watered down for a chocolate stout. 40 IBU, a bit of bitter, only a hint of roast taste, chocolate and other malts. Some head and lace but less than average mouthfeel.
