Like the hops used to brew it, this beer smells of citrus fruits like tangerine and lemon with hints reminiscent of fresh pine. It's an intensely hoppy and salaciously bitter American-style IPA designed for those with a real and deep passion for hops. A beer this light and hoppy, you could spend just as much time smelling it as you could drinking it!

Light golden amber, some hop haze slightly off-white head. A plethora of fruity hops and some pine.

Taste is all hops. Tangerines, some lemon, and the resiny pine associated with the style. Really nice, but could use a bit more body. With a try.

Poured out a deep dense orange with a nice thick off white head that is sustaining itself nicely.
Think of the aroma you get while you are peeling a plump ripe orange, that is what i got with this, citrusy for sure
Hop bitterness is nice. Leans towards hops over malt and grapefruit is also present in the taste.
Chewy mouthfeel is what i get. I feel like even tho the taste was more towards bitter, the finish was clean.
Overall even tho i like a more balanced ipa this i a good yake on it. Just for me a tad more on the bitterness side.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 11/22/2016. Pours slightly hazy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/grassy/citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, honey, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the balanced bitter/drying finish. Nice juicy hop complexity and balancing malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and pretty classic tasting IPA.

Bought a single 12oz bottle, drank from a snifter.

Look: this beer pours a medium golden color with half a finger of quickly dissipating head. Minimal lacing.
Smell: citrus, mostly lemon/grapefruit. A little pine in the background
Taste: similar to smell. Pretty strong citrus flavor up front with hint of pine. Fairly bitter aftertaste.
Feel: medium bodied; medium-light carbonation

Overall: first beer from this brewery. This was a very enjoyable IPA, I'll definitely look for it again!
