black colour with a brown big head that leaves until the end, grat lace. Smell is roasty, with dark fruits, chocolate, licorice. Medium body, good carbonation, creamy palate. Taste of coffee, chocolate, licorice, dark fruits. Bitter finish.

Rich brown head and high carbonization. Smell: blackberries and citrus peel overpowering coffee and chocolate, what is very nice. Taste: similar. Extremely drinkable, rich and refreshing. Another great one from my favourite Dutch brewery.

Very dark brown pour, almost totally black, one finger tan head that lasts a little while, but there's a nice thick lacing left.
Smell is half chocolate, half dark fruit jam up front, plus roasted dark malts, some sweet coffee, touch of licorice, vanilla, brown sugar, faint wood, very faint smoke.
Taste surprises with a big (red) fruitiness, bigger than the dark chocolate, with sweet cherries, some berries, red apples, fresh plum, faint red grapes. Coffee and cocoa powder balance things out a bit, with a bit of roasted malt becoming more and more apparent. Spicy with mild licorice, some vanilla, dusty cinnamon. Finishes with a bit of everything, plus some grassy hops, mildly bitter.
Light body, smooth carbonation, very easy to gobble down. Aftertaste is really nice, with a bit of dark fruit, dark chocolate, faint coffee and some faint hoppy fruitiness remains after the roasted notes fade.
A great beer, very light for a porter but keeping all the robust tastiness.
