Poured from fridge temp. Pours a nice dark brown/burgundy with almost no head. Bubbles lace the glass and stick around for quite a while. Nose is nice toffee, bourbon, vanilla, and sugars. Taste is super sweet upfront - along with the bourbon. Huge toffee and alcohol stick around on the aftertaste. Getting some really nice dark fruit in the middle - figs, blackberries mostly. Mouthfeel is thick and viscous. Overall, a nice BA barleywine.
