Copenhagen 5/4 2022. 33 cl bottle from Beerdealer web-shop. Light green label in Emmelise’s usual ornamental style.
Pours slightly unclear copper with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong malty odor mingling with a rough bitterness. Sweet pale malts, citrus, grass and alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Quite intense and a little rough.

June 2013: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Moderate but nice aroma of fruity / citrussy hops. Medium dry flavour, with moderate fruity and herbal hops. A decent summer ale, which belies its strength.

A (semi)bitter beer with delicious fruity tones from American hops. Highly aromatic on the nose, malty body and a hoppy aftertaste.
