Though i was charmed by the concept and its label, the beer basically exploded in my face when i opened it (bought a few days before, no shaking involved whatsoever) and the mendoza of foam just refused to settle (or maybe it did, by occupying the entire glass). You could say that the foam was doing a good job however, by hiding the beer itself, which has a very unpleasant murky light brown colour. The beer does not smell like a saly loquorice bock at all, more like a run-of-the-mill pilsener with a faraway whiff of liquorice. It tastes very weak as well, just some bland malt with pilsener hops and again some liquorice far far away. Taste and mouth feel are both way too watery as well. This is a nice idea executed all wrong.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
