Hazy dark copper colour with a full and steady head. Smell of caramel, malt and herbal hops. Intense and well balanced taste with the same flavours again, complemented with some lemon and biscuit. It isn't very complex, but the entity is well done. Medium to full-bodied mouth feel, quite smooth and refreshing. A very nice spring beer, though the colour and flavour make it more suitable for march than may in my opinion.

On tap at 't Arendsnest in Amsterdam. From notes.
A - Poured a very slightly hazy orange/copper. No visible carbonation. Fluffy 2 finger eggshell head. Retention sticks to the glass with a one finger retention.
S - Well balanced with a nice deep fruity malt character complimented by a noticable hop presence. More malt than hop but a nice inviting aroma.
T - Quite yeasty. Lot's of bock like characteristics in the sense that it's very malty. In addition to that, there is a nice hop punch. Well balanced with a nice fruity malt backbone and a hop bite to go with it.
M - Mild to medium carbonation with a medium body and a nice little bitter finish.
O/D - Nice little beer. Seems like a quality one with lot's of malt body. Could be hoppier but beggars can't be choosers. Worth a shot.

An orange beer with a creamy, small head.
Smell is malty with clear notes of munich malt. Some light notes of hops. Doughy.
Taste is malty with biscuity notes and some marmelade. With it's sweet body it appears like some honey has been used. The beer's bitterness is above average and clean. It is balanced by the sweet maltiness.
