A- Poured a hazy amber color with a foamy white head, which quickly dissipated. Great lacing, and no active carbonation visible from the sides of top of glass.
S- Up front, mint interplays with the hops- together they almost smell like the stale hop character I'm used to finding in Belgians. The mintyness is restrained, but definitely there. Some nutty and crackerlike malt aromas back-up the herbal tea-like mint/hops in the nose.
T- Almost the inverse of the nose. Here the nutty malt character is in the forefront, while the herbal mint/hop character plays second fiddle. Nicely balanced, and this finishes with nicely with some nutty mintyness.
M- Medium body. Slightly creamy. And nice soft carbonation. Very pleasant and a nice compliment to the aromas and flavors.
D- VERY drinkable. I would make this a regular social pint if I could!! (Damn limited cask availability!)
