Had this at the Beechnut Grill the other day.
A: Nice looking beer. Almost poured a two toned color with a deep copper color and a slightly darker amber color towards the bottom of the glass. Perfect head for a cask beer with tons of independent bubbles forming the head. Really nice lacing as well. Quite a bit of hop particles in the glass as well.
S: Big flowery hop nose up front. Then you get a nice whiff of the oak. The oak really tamed the nose down on this beer and balanced it out. Pleasant.
T: Again the hops and the oak worked really well in this beer. I think this one is a little better than Oaked Unearthly. The cask conditioning certainly helped. It starts off fairly bitter then the oak comes in the middle then finishes bitter.
M: Light and wonderful mouthfeel. The carbonation was nice and gentle. Served at the perfect temperature as well.
D: Could have had another pint which is saying something for a beer of this strength. One of the better IPAs on cask that I have ever had.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
