Had this treat on cask at Three Penny Taproom
Served in a standard pint glass
A - Interesting. Was cloudy for a pilsner, but had a wonderfully thick white head. Cloudiness subsided after a while and ringing down the sides of the pint glass.
S - Malts and herbal hops on the nose. Slight spice in it. Different than the regular Lager.
T - Very clean. Nice malts up front with a stronger hops presence. The Celeia hops definitely add a great dimension to the beer. Light spiciness on the finish. Still very clean on the flavors and crisp.
M - Really different. Traditional cask carbonation gave the beer a really creamy profile. Very smooth though.
D - A treat to try. A rare offering and happy I did. A different take on a pilsener that is really good. Would easily have had more. Love where Otter Creek is going with beers like this.
