A fair amount of craft and imported beers. I have not dealt with any service employees but they typically keep the shelves stocked. They have room temp. and a walk in cooler.
They have a solid selection for a grocery store; certainly better then Kroger, Meijer, and Wal-Mart. I used to go here a lot more when I needed a six pack/bomber and did not have time to stop at a location not on the way home from work.
If you need your craft fix and you have few options, this place can come through for you. The prices are a tad high but who can complain when need to land that sixer of Lagunitas Maximus? It also helps having a liquor store built in....

There are many Giant Eagle stores in the Columbus area, but the Perimeter Loop operation has the best beer selection. This selection was just upgraded ~ 1 month ago, and is outstanding. There are many Belgians (St. Bernardus, Orval, Piraat, Gulden Draak, Duvel, Lindemans, etc), which are my main focus when I visit. But if you're in the mood for English styles, there is a good foundation of Fullers and Youngs products, with many more to choose from. Add in your German beers, some offerings from the Czech Republic, and many North American micros (Unibroue, Three Floyds, Rogue, and many more), and this store is an easy choice in Dublin.
I would say that the selection at Andersons is better, but for those living in Northwest Dublin, Giant Eagle is a god-send.
