Poured from 500mL can into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 6/24/23. The label says this is made with "open-tank fermentation".
Appearance: rich amber-brown hue with a clear body and a finger of frothy tan foam atop. Aside from poor head retention, this is a good-looking beer.
Smell: sweet malt with plenty of caramel and toffee, and even a little bit of toastiness. Not bad at all.
Taste: caramelly and sweet, as in the aroma, but with a little bit of soft hop bitterness at the end to round things out. Not super complex, but still, quite tasty.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: not a perfect beer, but a highly drinkable one, despite its presence on the sweet end of the spectrum. Definitely a quencher.
