Debrechen 7/10 2017. 50 cl can from Spar. Drawing of the brewing process on the can. Very educational.
Pours clear golden yellow with white head. Settles as thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Lacing along the rim of the glass.
Aroma is strongly sweet and malty with a whiff of alcohol.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is rather sweet as well. Only light bitterness for balance. Aftertaste has a little bitterness and more malty sweetness.
A bit too sweet to hit my taste - like many Hungarian beers - but not awful or anything.

From Hungary...gluten free and organic. If a beer is a beer and also healthy, it surely cannot be bad in any way.
Quite a deep, dark colour. Fairly good, skewed head. Kind of a faint, musky aroma with some complex hops.
Very different from a pilsner...it has a more intense malt flavour and is less dry and crisp. Reminds me of some French beers that I had in Paris. It's a little heavy and for me the hops don't quite complement the malt. It's certainly not bad in anyway, just not really my style. Though it gets some extra marks for being healthy and without silly gluten. Mouth feel is pretty complex actually. However overall I don't really like it...it's a bit too heavy and reminds me much too much of French beers.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
