Lucice 9/8 2015. 50 cl can from local market Voli. Can looks like a parody of a German beer with a bearded brewmaster and gothic letters and such paraphernalia. But this is an Hungarian production.
Pours clear pale yellow with a bubbly, white head which disappears fast in an orgy of fizzling carbonation. No lacing.
Aroma is sharply sour and metallic. Sweet pale malts Sour grains and metallic alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling textture.
All the good things from the nose manifests in the flavor. Sweet malts with a sharp sour aftertaste. Metallic notes.
"From finest ingredients" they write on the can. Which ingredients you could ask. Not pleasant ones I presume.

Pours a clear golden straw color, lightly visible carbonation, and a large foam head that retains well.
The aroma is fairly straightforward and unremarkable. It opens up with grassy hops, followed by some malt sweetness.
Dry, bready and slightly crackery malt taste balanced by a very clean and subdued bitterness. A muted hops spice adds a little zip to the flavor.
Light bodied, thin and watery. The carbonation is gentle, perhaps a bit too much.
Unremarkable European Lager; probably one and done.

Another 500ml "supermarket can" review. Err..brief notes, anyway. 4.0% ABV.
A: Half head, half body. Head is white and frothy. Body is clear and yellow. Appears well-carbonated and clean. Head retention is better than you'd think - ~6-7 minutes.
Sm: Barley. Pilsner malts. Generic floral hops.
Low aromatic intensity. Clean ester-free lager yeast.
T: Matches the aroma. Simple, shallow, and plain, but at least it doesn't suffer from metallic or diacetyl off-flavours. Not watery either. Some may find it somewhat redolent of faint vegetables.
Mf: Smooth, wet, somewhat refreshing, light-bodied, overcarbonated. Decent execution, though it fails to accentuate specific notes or to elevate the beer as a whole.
O: This is what you expect when you buy a budget supermarket brew in Europe, but that doesn't make it good in its style. Drinkable and enjoyable with no off-flavours, but not worth seeking out. I wouldn't recommend it to others, but I've definitely had worse. Very unremarkable forgettable fare. Meh...

Another "supermarket" beer.
A - Light golden,clear,lots of bubbles,almost flat with foam.
S - Almost nothing. You really must try to find some aroma in it. Citrus mostly.
T/M - Citrus,lemon taste,bitter finish. Unpleasant to drink,a bit acid taste.
O - One of the worst beers i ever had.

Can from a grocery store in Sarajevo. From notes.
A - Yellowy gold. Strong carbonation. Two finger white soapy head. Slight lacing and a thin cap of retention.
S - Floral and sweet grain with faint citrusy hops. Soapy as well.
T - Vegetal. Floral and sweet grain as well with more soap and less hop.
M - Mild to medium carbonation with light body. Lingering and oily grainy feeling.
D - Smells ok but otherwise a big mess of not so great stuff after that. Standard. Only slightly better than the other 5000 beers exactly like this.
