a: nice 1/4" tight bubbled off-white head sitting on thick brown body w/ light movement and light orange highlights and tint; very limited lace but amazing head retention.
s: light smoky malts; some darker fruits; oak or cedar; light apples and cinnamonny spices
t: salty smokiness; dark toffee; light grainy aftertaste; a really well-rounded not too overpoweringly smoky version of the beer
m: medium carb; thick and lightly syrupy but still refreshing
d: i feel this is a decent take on the style with good smoky flavors but still maintains good drinkability.
