Not sure I have thet right style (bartender did not know). Had this beer in Dec 2009, just now reviewing.
A: Clear dark brown color; little light. Poured a <1 finger chocolate wispy head that dissipated to thin skim. Laced in broken rings.
S: Coffee, burnt toast. Earthy aroma.
T: Toasted malts; mostly coffee. Also burnt toast. Sharp bitter finish. Very blended flavors and nicely balanced.
M: Light body. Low carbonation; a little flat. Smooth, rich and balanced.
D: Very balanced, smooth and very drinkable.
