On tap at Max's during their annual Belgian beer fest.
The beer pours a fairly dark gold color with good head retention and lacing. Don't pick up a whole lot on the nose.... just some light honey and hint of dry citrus. Thankfully, the flavor profile is nowhere near as reticent, as I pick up considerable honey, fruit cocktail and a hint of vanilla. The moderate sweetness is pretty easy to take in this beer, and is not the least overwhelming. The beer is medium bodied, with a fairly long, honeyish finish. Alcohol is very integrated in this beer, and there is no heat in the finish.
Nothing extraordinary, but still a tasty, easy to appreciate beer. Would be interested in knowing what the notes say for the beer listing, but as I don't speak french or flemish, I guess I'm just out of luck.
