Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a deep golden color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades super fast to leave almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is big of a cracker aroma mixed with some grainy notes. Along with these smells comes some aromas of caramel and a little bit of grass.
Taste- The taste begins with a dry cracker taste mixed with a little bit of a caramel and some grain. As the taste advances some flavors of hop of a grassy and herbal nature comes to the tongue with an increase in a bready flavors as well. With a little bit of fruitiness developing at the very end, one is left with a rather clean but slightly malty taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the medium side with a carbonation level that is rather average. For the bready nature that develops and the rather lighter abv., the feel is great and makes of a very easy drinker overall.
Overall – Nothing super out of the ordinary, but a great brew to sit back and drink in the company of good friends on a warm summer day. Pretty nice overall and very approachable.
