For several years our customers have requested a light beer. Yes, the time has come. The Madison River brew team decided to brew a light lager style beer for the first time. Several classic lager ingredients are put together for this brew, including 6 Row, cornflakes and a very small amount of hops. This is a beer for those that want to enjoy a light brew that is crafted locally. Like many characteristics of Madison River brews it is a smooth, easy drinker, and comes with a flavor put together by local brewers that make it more pleasant than your average light beer in the market.

As the brewer's website states, locals have been asking for a light beer for awhile so they've combined 6-row barley, corn, and minimal hopping to produce Maddy Light - which is a great name (anyone ever drink a naddy Light?)
Pours a filted clear straw color with white head that disapates normally.
Little aroma of US barley, didn't notice any corn. No hops, neutral yeast
Taste very much like an American Light lager, neutral and refreshing but with more character than B/M/C. Very sessionable and kind of nice, better than most craft versions of this style.
