A very true to style example of a traditional German Oktoberfest. Slightly sweetened by the use of caramelized malts.

This beer is a darker color than your typical O-fest, almost brown in the dim light of the pub, and offers only a little head. Smells are nice mellow malt aromas. If this beer is on the dark end of the style in appeance it is on the brighter side in taste. There is little toasted or metalic flavor and the caramel tones are very light and sweet with biscuity backing, a great nuttiness, and low hop bitterness. Carbonation could be a little livelier but very smooth and creamy mid-wieght mouthfeel makes this slide down.
