An interesting name for a unique beer. I believe this brew is created with lager yeast while being fermented at a warmer ale temperature. The result is a hoppy, well balanced, not-quite IPA. Has an amber shade with an off-white, frothy head. Loads of hops and citrus in the nose. The flavor has some interesting complexities. Ripe fruit with a smoky peat flavor up front, followed by a full, dry, hoppy and rather bitter finish. Interesting, and fairly impressive.
