Sample at the Pittsburgh location. Pours a dark amber color with a medium thin beige head and spotty lacing. Amazingly floral heather aroma, which was easy to verify as they had a glass of heather at the bar. Some malt in the nose as well. Medium-bodied with a rich malty character, and again the floral heather is predominant in the flavor. The finish is smooth and sweet with a nice aftertaste of floral hops. Hands down one of the most unique beers I have tried in quite some time. The closest comparison I can make outside of beer is to Breitenbachs Dandelion Wine. I hope to try this again someday.

Pittsburgh location:
Appearance: Slight hazed amber brown tan creamy head very nice retention especially considering the high abv leaves specks of lacing. Aroma: Interesting honey and floral tones the heather adds a very nice character to the malty alcoholic mix. Taste: Rich and malty honey laced with alcohol definitely fruity with an amazing herbal tone, what a beer. Mouthfeel: Full rich sugary can't beat it way too smooth, very complex. Drinkability: Way to easy to consume considering the amount of flavor and alcohol, I suggest a 5oz sampler before rushing into a pint pretty strong stuff.
