Served on tap at the John Harvard's in Manchester, CT. William's dark wheat is a very interesting color, slightly smoky and mostly reminding me of a glass of hazy sweet tea, that seemed to fit the appearance best. No visible head on this beer, but on sipping is actually petty highly carbonated; seems to be nice tight bubbles. Taste is a very wheaty like a hefe, but accompanied with some strong orange flavor that lends just a bit of tartness, a little bit of caramel in there too to balane it out.. Finish is sweet and wheaty and actually pretty dry.
