Sampled at the North Pittsburgh location, this cask-conditioned California Common was a delight for the senses. It was obviously dry-hopped, with malt and flowery hops dominating both the flavor and aroma of this brew. The coloring was a deep copper, with a persistent finger thick head that left sheets of lace on the glass. The carbonation was low and the body was medium, with a creamy mouthfeel. This is one beer that I wish I would be able to find close to home, but with no John Harvard's close by, this will likely be one I won't find again.
