It appears to be a good black color. The aroma has some roasted malts in it. The body is too lean and the taste does not have enough roasted flavors. It is not a bad drink, but it vanishes almost as soon as it is swallowed and i wonder what it is that I just took a sip of.

Served as part of a sampler tray at their brewpub. Very dark chocolate brown in color with ruby highlights and topped off with a rich and creamy tan head. Small hints of roasted grains and some bittersweet chocolate in the aroma. Goes down smooth enough, decent body of malt. Rich and creamy with a nice balance of bitterness from the roasted grains. A decent porter.
