It pours a dark black with some ruby tinges. The head is okay and there is no lacing. The aroma has some sweet roated malts in the nose. A sweet lactose taste is up front. There is also some coffe and bittersweet cholate as well as a slight nuttiness. It is very smooth and goes down well, but I thought the body was a bit thin for an Oatmeal stout. I expected it to be a bit chewier. Nonetheless, it is a tasty beer.

My second trip out to JH and this beer stood out the most,a great brew.Pours a pitch black with a great looking huge creamy moch head that stays till ur finished, the aroma is nice and choco;laty with some nuttiness to itTaste is alot of the same some unsweetened chocolate and nutty flavors with a light earthiness in the finish, body is almost marshmellow-like.Iam sure low in alcohol its extremely easy to drink..
