Advertised as an American Wild Ale with cranberries. The cranberries were placed in the aging tank for seven months. Gotta love that dedication.
Small, large bubbled head. Settles completely, leaving bubbles only on the edge. Tiny spots for lace. Gold color with a minor chill haze.
The smell is closer to really soured cherries.
The malt base must be solid to hold up to the strong tartness of this beer. Relatively thin but the lower carbonation makes it seem richer. Sour aftertaste but it doesn't go too long.
