Nice yellow color with an ample froth. Good banana smell. Sweet malty flavors, good fruit taste. Carbonation was tickling. Hints of clove and allspice? I had one with dinner, then seeing someone's dessert, I realized I was in Boston, and had not had Boston creme pie yet, this kicked with the sweet dessert. Loving hefes as much as I do, I wish we had a John Havards' here.

Sampled on tap at the Harvard Square brewpub. It was listed on the board as "Weissbier". The official web site only lists a "Wheat Beer".
This beer poured a cloudy, golden color with white foam that settled but clung a little bit. The smell was light: citrus, light banana, light malty, a fainit hint of cloves. The taste was mild: malty, citrus, very light banana, a hint of spice, and fairly prominent yeast taste. The mouthfeel was smooth and lightly fruity with medium-light body and decent carbonation. This was an easy drinking and light hefeweizen.
