This beer pours deep brown, has a tan 1/2 finger head with little retention and moderate lacing. The aroma was faint but it was of sweetly toasted malt. At first sip I noticed the rich roasted malty flavor with hints of coffee, the finish was surprisingly bitter. The body was thin and the beer was very refreshing.
Relection: Considering the watery body I was surprised that this beer packed so much flavor, if I hadn't been in a hurry that day I would have had quite a few of them.
