Black in color with a thin 1 finger head that produces some minor lacing on the glass. The aroma is wonderful as coffee and bitter chocolate are easily detectable. Roasted malts, coffee, caramel, bitter dark chocolate are the major flavor components.
Mouthfeel is smooth and dry, with a lite syrupy feel on tongue. Medium in body. Nice flavor, but found myself getting slightly tired of the bitter chocolate / coffee tones near the end of the drink, so my drinkability mark is just below good.
