Took a growler of this home from John Harvard's in Pittsburgh.
A: Pale golden in color, very clear. Head somewhat smallish even right after the pour.
S: Very nice clean maltiness. Hops are pretty bold in the nose. Very faint spicy undertone.
T: First taste is a sweet maltiness. Hops are strong with just a bit of a peppery taste. Seems a pretty solid pils.
M: Carbonation could be a bit higher. Medium body with a crisp and clean feel to it. Alcohol feels fairly strong, I really wish I knew what the ABV% of this is.
D&N: It may just be me, but this seems really similar to Prima Pils or Sunshine Pils. That's a very good thing for me, I happen to really like those beers. I'm going to have to start coming to JH more often, the beers I've had there recently have all been rock solid tasty beers, and this is no exception. If you're in the area, I'd recommend stopping by for a pint of this.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
