I contemplated placing this in the "smoked beer" but it is just a Scotch Ale with a rediculous amount of smokiness to it.
This is a year old batch.
Appears a dark transparent amber with a 2 finger white head that fades. Tiny lacing is left around the glass.
Smell is super smokey with rich peat smoked malt that is of smokey fruit.
Taste has a distinct smoke that makes it seem like it came straight from the smoking pit. This is certainly a smoked malt lover's delight. Me...I'm on the fence but it's damn tasty.
Mouthfeel is sugary, malty, and very, very smokey.
This is seriously for the smoked malt fans only!
