Appears a hazy orange/gold with a small creamy white head that is retained nicely. Streaky white lacing is left around the glass.
Smell is of Belgian yeast, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, citrus, peaches, with tropical fruit and clove notes.
Taste is a yeasty mix of spiced wafers and yeasty peach with spices.
Mouthfeel is creamy smooth with a mild sweetness and spice in the finish.
Very different brew but an excellent experimental hybrid. John Rehm has some very nice brews rounding out his catalog at this point and he has turned this John Harvard's location into a Main Line hot spot.
