This beer came a clear amber brown with a thin film of head that left a little bit of lace.
Smells of crisp burnt oak, prunes, oranges and PVC piping.
Tastes more like a red ale thatÂ’s really light with some melon and grape sweetness. This easy going sweetness fades into a super light Belgian spicy yeast and a bit of citrus rind bitterness that tingles the edges of my tongue.
The mouth feel is light to medium bodied with a light carbonation.
This would be a good starter beer for someone who is afraid of craft brews.
