On Tap At JH Monroeville
A: Cloudy, pale/straw colored yellow with a great fluffy, white head that sticks around throughout without losing an inch. Great lacing throughout. True to the style in appearance.
S: Incredibly aromatic. This brew can be smelled from a half a foot away! Great aromas of orange and lemon peel, slight coriander, and some slight banana. Some scents of vanilla and almond are in there too, as well as a slight herbal smell.
T: Orange and lemon peel are the backbone for this brew. A lot more orange and lemon than a typical wit, but in a good way. Slight coriander that seems to get lost in this citrus backed brew, but its presence is still there. Slight flavors of vanilla in the background and slight herbal spiciness towards the end. The orange and lemon peel are the real winners. A unique take.
MF: Light-medium in mouthfeel with a slightly dry finish.
Overall: Unique in its amount of orange and lemon flavors. A different tasting wit, but one I enjoyed. I would've like to see a bit more coriander and spice in there, but I enjoyed the brew nonetheless. Great job!
