A - this hefe pours a pale straw yellow, with a wispy lacy head, no visible carbonation

S - sweet smelling, with the typical hefe lemony-wheatiness

T - smooth and sweet, but not an overbearing sweetness, not a candylike sweetness, a nice subtle sweetness, the lemon hints are also not overdone, a nice summer beer

M - smooth, as i said, sweet on the palate, easy down

D - medium-high, a great drinkability for a hefe, not to sour

Pour had absolutly no head, but I believe this was the bartenders desire to fill glass to top with beer. It was a bright yellow color, and had a nice murkiness of an unfiltered.

Had a slight wheat aroma with a note of citrus that bounced off the back of my nose but died quickly.

There were nice citrus notes noted from the first sip. It was a very mixed citrus taste that balanced well around the malt. There was only a note of hops when you went looking for it in the flavor.

This beer seemed to be very watery given the unfiltered and murky nature of this beer. I was impressed with the amount of carbonation, but still didn't hit the palate with body.

I would like to try this beer again with a lighter meal. It was not a nice pairing for my steak, but that was my decision. I think this could be a nice overall beer to have with a shrimp and pasta dish.
